What is The Study About?

In order to build a technology that can understand our every day activities, sounds and situations this project will be collecting audio and video recordings of everyday actions from people during the project.

What will I do in the Study?

This will be a video recored session where you:

  • Could be asked to say short phrases

  • Perform actions such as looking left, smiling etc.

  • Speak some simple sentences using scripts/ no scripts

  • Reading phrases loud

  • And some kind of easy acting tasks

  • Perform some phrases usisng specific tonation etc

Study Requirements

  • Must be able to commute to or be located in one of these regions: New York (Manhattan and Brooklyn); Atlanta, GA; New Jersey (Jersey City and Bordentown); Salt Lake City, UT; Las Vegas, NV; Phoenix, AZ and Cleveland, OH.

  • Eligible minors must be between 13 and 17 years old

  • Minor(s) must arrive with a parent/guardian

  • Before arriving the session, all Consent forms must be signed by the Parent/Guardian.

  • Parent/Guardian must be present for the whole study duration

  • Must be able to follow English Instructions

  • Parent or legal guardian must be willing to provide consent for audio and video recording for research purposes

Note
The choice of participation is totally yours, and you can decide to cease participation at anytime you feel like.
